UP SD40-2 #3593 was painted into this special "Desert Victory" paint scheme scheme by the Little Rock Shops in February of 1991 to honor UP employees and all other Americans serving in the Gulf War. On July 19th in 1991 it is seen leaving Fort Worth northbound leading a SHOFR (Houston, TX to Fort Riley, KS) train of military equipment. The locomotive was returned to normal colors in November of 1991.
