SLSF 410 South Perry OK 09-21-80

The SLSF 410 and an second GP38-2 are arriving in Perry, Oklahoma southbound on the AT&SF Oklahoma Subdivision from Arkansas City, Kansas. In a few minutes the train will back through the interchange track onto the Frisco to run west to Enid. The date is September 21, 1980 and the Frisco is running on trackage rights over the Santa Fe after abandoning its own line between Enid and Arkansas City. Take note of another now-vanished railroad practice in the form of the occupied camp cars on the right complete with TV antenna.
