After catching the FWWR at Forest Park we headed for the Trinity River bridges north of downtown Fort Worth. We had only been there a few minutes when this northbound UP train came up Choctaw Main One with two KCS SD70ACe’s trailing the lead SD70M.

When I finished my errands just before 4:00pm on Thurday afternoon April 2nd I was close to Saginaw and decided to check out the rail action before heading home. I spotted four BNSF Gensets with a long string of cars northbound in the transfer track from North Yard to the Fort Worth Sub waiting [...]
Here are two more shots from Thursday morning April 2nd when I was out to get the UP 1988 and the BNSF 9647. While I was talking to the engineer on the UP 1988 in North Yard this northbound train on Choctaw Sub Main One almost snuck by before I could raise the camera.
