After the northbound single unit bare table train cleared Tower 60, BNSF DS22 wasted no time in clearing up the FWWR Cresson Turn to head east towards Hodge Yard. Within a few minutes the train crept past us through the lengthening shadows at NE 29th Street with an SD40R and two SD40-2’s for power.
Once the crossing was clear we drove on up to Hodge Yard and found a Progress Rail Genset that FWWR is leasing.
The 2005 is a PR22B with three engine sets generating a total of 2235 horsepower.
