24 Hours at Saginaw 2008

Friday night’s slide shows in the depot at Saginaw, TX went well as a few train rolled by to interrupt the viewers.  Unfortunately I had to leave early to get some needed sleep before turning back up at noon on Saturday the 24th to blow some horns and then go in to work a 12-hour shift at 7:00pm.  I can remember when I did not need sleep, but it is tough to get old.  I’m glad I brought the horns out though, and with the invaluable help of Troy and his air tanks children of all ages had a great time with them.  Here Wes Carr’s son is giving the Nathan M5 a detailed inspection prior to honking it loudly.

I was told the early hours has been sparse in terms of train traffic, but it picked up after I arrived back.  Here we see Wes Carr on the left and a good representation of other fans on the right as the BNSF 7636 North rolls through.
