“Green” in Fort Worth

Just after the loaded grain train went south at Tower 60 on the morning of May 8th, The last move I caught on the way to work was a pair of BNSF Gensets northbound on the Fort Worth Sub heading towards Saginaw.  The units were moving at restricted speed as there was a problem with the headlights on the 1291.  None the less I framed them up coming off the Trinity River bridge with the skyline of the city they serve by reducing emmissions below the levels of a pair of normal locomotives.

As they moved away about to cross the FWWR diamond I took this view of the 1287 bringing up the rear as roofers on the building in the background paid no attention to their passing.

With nothing else close by, it was time to return to the office in my not so “green” vehicle.
