Great shots Ken! I really like the going-away shot with the truck in the foreground. Great timing!

Beautiful shots, Ken. Some are absolutely gorgeous, with great composition and great subject material. I especially liked the special with the cactus in the foreground, and the distant shot of the intermodal on the S curve.

those are stellar photos of the Union Pacific "out west". ive shot bnsf like that in New Mexico and west Texas, but never UP, great catches, light and trains! back here its been miserbale overcast all week. i did catch a lucky break though after the WGH expo in ft worth. at haslet, a ballast train was parked with santa fe gp40x 3032 on lead! the light was crap, but the overcast was thin enough i got some good shots in spite of being backlit. was worth it though, and detail shot the engine with the good overcast light eliminated shadows. took 44 pics of a gp40x haha!
