These initials represent the three grandsons — Austin, Todd and Ladd – of the elder Mr. Wheeler of Wheeler Brothers Grain Company.  Here we see SW1200 #1127 and caboose #1917 tied up in Watonga, OK in November of 1986.

A scene rapidly becoming scarce in today’s electronic world is depicted here as a crew member on the MP 2327 South is about to take a set of train orders from the hoop in front of the depot at Wagoner, OK in August of 1994.

A Meet at Tarrant

Today commuter trains of the Trinity Railway Express dominate here, but on 3/24/92 this siding just south of DFW airport was host to a meet between two BN freight trains.  An eastbound powered by a GP15 is in the siding as a westbound powered by two SD40-2’s holds the main.
