Creating Snow Flurries

UP SD50 5043 lettered for the Missouri Pacific leads two other SD50’s and an SD40-2 on a southbound loaded coal train between Roanoke and Keller, TX on 3/12/89.  A late spring snowfall is responsible for the swirls raised by the speeding train.
