CTC Board has left the Hundman camp to be renamed Railroads Illustrated by new owner White River Productions, and editor Paul Schnieder who was originally staying on has now departed. About the only thing that stayed the same was that today had been designated the “Day in North America” for railroad photographers. I was busy getting ready to leave for Montana on Monday, so I only got out for a few hours this afternoon. Traffic was fairly slow, and I ended up with maybe half a dozen shots worth submitting to the magazine. This is one of them, depicting TRE Train 2975 westbound over the Trinity River about to arrive in Fort Worth.
Nothing special for this area, but maybe it will fit in with the magazine’s ultimate vision of depicting rail operations around the continent on this day.
